TREENWARE INK BOTTLE

A treenware ink holder which contains a glass bottle to hold the ink. The top portion is threaded and removed to reveal the bottle. Due to shrinkage from age, the glass bottle is now prevented from being removed. The interior of the treen lid has a carved stopper. Made of maple wood. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

RARE LIGNUM VITAE COMPOTE WITH LID

A rare lignum vitae turned, lidded and footed compote. The lid has a crack from the edge to the handle but is not very noticeable. It also has several small dings along the edge and two chips on the inside rim. The handle has two tiny dings. Overall, it is a beautiful example of lignum vitae treenware. GREAT LATE 18TH CENTURY TREENWARE COMPOTE

A late 18th century turned maple footed compote. It is turned from a single piece of maple and has traces of old blue paint. This is an early piece of treenware with great form. It shows appropriate age shrinkage. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

EARLY DOUBLE SIDED LOLLIPOP BUTTER PRINT

A very rare pine double sided lollipop butter print. One side has a thistle design and the other has a geometric pattern. Hand carved and chamfered from one piece of pine. CARVED THISTLE BUTTER STAMP

UNUSUAL BIRCH BARK CARVED OVAL SNUFF BOX

An oval birch bark snuff box with lid, with stamped crescent moons and pinwheel carvings. There is a split along the side. An unusual piece. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
