BLUE AND WHITE SPONGEWARE SALT BOX

A wonderful blue and white hand decorated spongeware salt box. The wooden lid is probably not original but is about 100 years old. The knob has a 3/8" chip. There are two 1/4" chips on the right side of the base. There is a tight 3 1/2" hairline on the left side that goes throgh. There is a 1/8" shallow chip on the back of the hanger. When looking straight at the box, the only flaw that one sees is the knob chip. A difficult to find piece. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

RARE BLUE AND WHITE SPONGEWARE WASTE BOWL

A rare blue and white hand decorated spongeware waste bowl. It has a relief dentil molding at both the base and the top. Good condition except for seven or eight glaze pops, in the making, around the upper dentil molding. A nice dark cobalt blue over white clay. RARE SMALL CUT SPONGE CHILD'S CUP

A rare small cut sponge child's cup with flowers and leaves design pattern. In teal, blue and green colors. There is a 3/16" shallow chip on the top rim edge, otherwise in excellent condition. Ex. Earl Robacher collection. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

RARE LARGE CUT SPONGE CHILD'S CUP

A rare large cut sponge child's cup with a floral design, sawtooth border and two mustard yellow bands. Red and mustard yellow flowers, light green leaves and dark green border. There is a blue stripe in the inside top rim. There are several small kiln flaws on the top rim that are glazed over, original in the making. Otherwise, in excellent condition. Ex. EARLY RED CUT SPONGE MINIATURE CUP AND SAUCER

An early red cut sponge miniature cup and saucer with a leaf and tiny tulip design. There is crazing in the glaze on the saucer and discoloration and some minor smudging in the design along the top rim of the cup. The color is clear and bright. Overall, in excellent condition. BEAUTIFUL SPONGEWARE DOUBLE SIDED ROSE PITCHER

A blue and white spongeware pitcher with an embossed cobalt blue rose on each side. One side has wear to the outer rim and a barely visible 2" hairline that goes through. There are a few chips on the inside of the rim, and a few flea bites at the spout. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

SPONGE DECORATED STONEWARE PIGGY BANK

A wonderful sponge decorated stoneware piggy bank in a small size. The bank has brown, green and yellow sponging with a slip glaze. Some glaze skipping. There is touch up to one ear. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
